![]() Preparation of the classroomby Rita Foelker Before starting any class is necessary to prepare the physical and spiritual ambience. a) Physical ambience It represents all that the children have to their material senses. Also to their growth and development, such as the objects to touch and the visual characteristics and sounds. A good development of the activities concerns that the ambience will be favorable to the freedom of moves and the expressions of the students. They should feel free to do the work, study, research, game, and discovery. We have to pay attention to the hygiene, lightning, furniture, freely circulating of air, decoration, and material when we are preparing the physical ambience. All the elements in the room have to give the children the sense of harmony and order. It will guide the child to the interior organization, discipline, and peacefulness. The room can have a corner with rags, mats, and cushions in enough number to the amount of children. The children will be instructed to use this place with care and organization. If the center does not have an Infant Library, some books or games might be available to the children. b) Spiritual ambience Educating the children and the teenagers is not a task only for a few workers in the spiritists centers, many spirits are involved with this very important work to the society and to the progress of the planet. Those who do the work with dedication, seriousness, and love will be helped by these spirits that will stay close. It is important to maintain thoughts in according to our purposes in order to be open to the inspirations and intuitions from these spiritual friends. A meeting with the teachers some minutes before the classes begin will make this tune with the spirits much better. We suggest to read a good text with calmness and serenity followed by a pray. No more than 10 minutes are necessary to place us away from the day by day worries and into the superior objectives that we are proposed to. |
